Dr. Clifford Liem of Cloakware Corporation to Present Tips on Software Security at ReTrust 2009

WHAT: Dr. Clifford Liem, R&D technical lead for Cloakware, will present a paper on diverse, renewable software security solutions at ReTrust 2009, the security industry's second international workshop on remote entrusting. Dr. Liem's presentation, "Tools and Methodologies for Layered, Diverse and Renewable Security in Tethered Systems," will focus on tactics to mitigate software security threats in modern server-client systems, such as those that protect high-value digital content and conditional access systems (CAS).

The presentation will also cover:

• How to create high-entry barriers for initial security attacks
• Tools for software protection, namely source-level and binary-level tools
• How to reduce the risk of disparate attacks by diversifying software
