Irdeto Broadband Security Solutions Featured in ARRIS IP Video Architecture and Whole Home Solution Demonstration at NCTA Cable Show

Company Also Slated to Showcase Secure PC Playback Technology for TV Everywhere in CableNET Pavilion

WHAT: Irdeto will demonstrate how to safely and securely distribute premium broadband and broadcast content to any device in the consumer's connected day, making the concept of TV Everywhere a reality and providing a viable business strategy for today's cable operators, in two separate locations at the NCTA Cable Show.

The first demonstration will take place in ARRIS booth #639 as part of the company's IP Video Architecture and Whole Home Solution demonstration. By using Irdeto's unique broadband security solutions, ARRIS will be able to bridge multiple DRM possibilities for advanced home networking.

Irdeto's industry-leading technology will also be found at the CableNET Pavilion. There, Irdeto will showcase a renewable platform for cable, direct broadcast satellite, IPTV and OTT operators to deliver protected, high-quality standard definition and high definition content for today's popular consumer electronic devices. The platform is a critical component for operators to ensure the successful adoption and implementation of TV Everywhere, and Irdeto's industry-leading technology protects the premium content throughout the entire media path— from ingestion to rendering — enabling cable operators to know the content they're delivering to consumers is secure and monetizable.

Irdeto's presence at The Cable Show comes on the heels of a recent announcement that the company is the first to license Adobe Flash Access 2.0, content protection technology that will be officially launched by Adobe this week at Streaming Media East.

WHEN: May 11-13, 2010

WHERE: The Cable Show, Los Angeles Convention Center; CableNET Pavilion and ARRIS Booth #639
