Mega Media Indonesia Partners with Irdeto to Launch ‘Parabola Orange TV’ DTH Services
Fully Renewable Irdeto Cloaked CA Offers Best Security in Prepaid & Post-Paid TV Services
JAKARTA, 27 October 2011 – Irdeto, a global software security and media technology company, today announced that PT Mega Media Indonesia, the country’s newest player in direct-to-home (DTH) broadcast services, has selected Irdeto’s conditional access (CA) solution to launch ‘Parabola OrangeTV’ pay TV services. Parabola OrangeTV broadens Indonesia’s access to digital TV broadcast services though a combination of post-paid subscription and a “Prepaid Plus” concept while offering unlimited free-to-air viewing.
Through its alternative Prepaid Plus offering, Parabola OrangeTV allows greater flexibility of consumers’ access to a variety of TV programs of their choice without having to be tied a fixed subscription fee and fixed channels.
